SEEDS (Special Education Electronic Data System) is an IEP data collection application which puts all special education student data in one powerful Web-based system, allowing teachers and administrators to access IEPs, reports or forms from school, work or home while maintaining confidentiality. The application was built, in house, here at CESA 6, by school districts for school districts. The 2700+ users influence new features, additions and changes to the application through enhancement requests and annual surveys. CESA 6 has programmers on staff to make the necessary legal changes to forms when need be. Validations are put in place on the forms to help with self assessment compliance.

SEEDS is used in 124 of the districts across the State of Wisconsin. There are over 65,000 students in SEEDS and when a student transfers into a school district from one of the 124 SEEDS districts the student's IEP data comes with them electronically. SEEDS has expanded to roughly 28% of the districts in Wisconsin by word of mouth from users recommendations.

Join us at 4:00 PM after the first half day of Winter WCASS for some warm hors d'oeuvres and snacks and to learn more about the benefits of SEEDS4Schools.
