Participants from the following districts should enter discount code SIOP when prompted during registration: Abbotsford, Altoona, Augusta, Bloomer, Bruce, Cadott, Chippewa Falls, Colby, Eleva-Strum, Granton, Ladysmith, Loyal, Medford, Mondovi, Neillsville, Osseo-Fairchild, Owen-Withee, Spencer, Stanley-Boyd, and Thorp.
Participants in the following district should enter discount code ECASD SIOP when prompted during registration: Eau Claire.
Join us for learning about how to universally design lessons to meet the needs of ALL kids in your classroom by building lessons and creating structures to teach the academic language and close achievement gaps.
Learning outcomes include:
- Learn activities to incorporate SIOP components to plans of instruction.
- Enhance lessons to add academic language learning tools.
- Use resources to support all students in engaging in academic conversations.
Participants need to bring a device and a lesson plan or unit to the workshop.
Each participant will receive a $100. stipend.
Additionally, the first 20 registered participants will receive a copy of the book 99 Ideas and Activities for Teaching English!
