CESA # 3 is very pleased to be bringing Ms. Katie Anderson to Southwestern Wisconsin on August 15^th and 16^th to work with area educators on classroom management skills.

Katie is a partner at “Conscious Teaching, Unlocking the Secrets of Great Teaching”.   This organization was founded by Rick Smith and is recognized across the country for its work with educators related to classroom management.

On Monday August 15^th Katie’s topic will be: Conscious Classroom Management: Bringing the Best Out in Students and Teachers.

Tuesday August 16^th will be a presentation titled: Rebels With Applause: Brain Compatible Approaches For Motivating Reluctant Learners.

This two day workshop is being provided to all New Educators ( First Year Staff) and Mentors of first year educators as a part of the CESA 3 License Renewal Program for 2016-2017.   So if your district has purchased this service these folks can attend at no additional cost.

Other educators can attend the two day workshop for a fee of $250 or $125 per day.   This workshop is highly recommended for teachers who are in their first 5 years of teaching, educators who are need help with classroom management, Mentor teachers, and principals.

NOTE:  If you plan on attending the 2 day training, you need to register for both days on MQR.  Lunch will be provided.

Participant Cancellation Policy: You must contact CESA #3 at least one week prior to the scheduled event to cancel and receive a full refund of your registration fee. Cancellations not received at least one week prior to the registered event will be charged the full registration fee. CESA #3 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot. Accommodations: If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated. CESA #3 is handicapped accessible.
