How to Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and Develop Behavior Intervention Plans

Description:

The FBA/BIP toolkit developed by the Department of Public Instruction is designed to provide schools a resource to guide effective practice in understanding a student’s pattern of behaviors, designing proactive interventions to address those behaviors, and ensuring fidelity to quality practice. This toolkit draws from existing resources, and provides a comprehensive set of options for assessing student behavior and supporting behavior change.
