1. How can we ensure large-scale assessments are right?
2. How can we ensure classroom designed assessments also result in valid conclusions about student progress?
New state assessments have raised important questions about the validity of quality assessments to accurately measure achievement and reliably clarify student's learning needs. This multi-day workshop will give teachers the tools and understandings to ensure classroom-based assessments are valid and inform reliable, responsive instructional practices to support and improve student learning.
