$395 per person or $370 per person if you have 3 or more participants attending from the same school district.
Day 1- Matt Glover and Kathy Collins will begin by showing you how young children's interactions with any book count as real reading and denote a precious time in their reading lives, whether or not they can read the words. When we view children as readers and nurture what they're doing before they can read conventionally, we're helping them develop healthy reading habits and identities as well as a disposition toward meaning making and joyful engagement with all books.
Day 2 - Matt Glover and Lisa Cleaveland show how primary students can learn from professional writers, work with intention, and think about their own process in a writing workshop that is designed to support learning and respond sensitively to the developmental needs of children in the early grades.
