School PBIS teams, including administrators and coaches, participate in these four training days that consist of intense, interactive, activity based preparation for implementation of Tier II PBIS. These are guided work days to begin developing and refining the systems, data, and practices necessary for sustainable tier II implementation. The objectives are:
Objectives

Understand the essential components of positive support systems that provide behavior supports to targeted groups of students:

Realign student support systems including examination of student service roles

Develop data rules to access intervention, progress monitor intervention, and fidelity of intervention

Create a continuum of intervention support from generic group based interventions to high intensity intervention

Understand early use of functional behavioral assessment and intervention development
Target Audience
This training is intended for school level tier II teams of about six members. These teams should include building administrators, external and internal coaches, regular education representatives, special education representatives, social workers and/or psychologists.
Preparation:
Before teams attend this training, their schools should have achieved a fidelity score on the
Self?Assessment Survey and the Benchmarks of Quality. Teams also need to complete the Tier II readiness checklist.
Prerequisites:

completion of activities outlined in the Tier II readiness checklist

team attendance at all three days of Tier I/Universal Training (U100, U200, U300)
-
building leadership attendance at both the Administrative Overview (AS50) and the Tier II/III

Cost:
Per building team is $1600 for up to 8 team members. Includes Days 1, 2, 3 and 4 (Days 3 & 4 are to be scheduled for the 2016-2017 school year). $275 per person for each additional person. (Lunch, materials and snacks/beverages are included). Includes 8 hours of additional support by CESA 5 staff.
