When Play Isn’t Easy Helping Children Enter and Sustain Play Book Study

Dates: January 11, 2016 For 8 weeks

Email Book Study— You will receive a weekly email with the reading assignment and some possible points to reflect on—the expectation is that you respond to posed questions or comment on others reflection weekly.

Cost: Free—book will be sent to you

For: Early Childhood: Special Ed staff, itinerant teachers, speech/language clinicians, and collaborating partners… anyone who wants to engage in the use of play for young children!

Topics include: ??how play connects to standards ??value of play and how to communicate that value to others ??possible reasons children have difficulty in play ??play check list ??defining your adult role in play

1 credit from Viterbo will be offered. Please indicate interest when registering online.
