Description:
The Literacy Intervention Teacher (LIT) Collaboration Network is a series of three half-day meetings designed specifically for Title I teachers, reading teachers and interventionists working with students in a small group or 1:1 setting. The network is designed to provide participants with cutting edge tools, resources, practices and strategies applicable to literacy interventions and support. The meetings will incorporate a year-long book study and provide a venue for collaborating with other like educators within a close proximity of their district.

The network participants will:

  • Write an SLO specific to small group intervention, create a related action plan, and monitor student data to realize that objective
  • Explore current and new research, practices and interventions related to literacy
  • Network and collaborate with Title I teachers within a 30-40 mile radius
  • Participate in a year-long book study (text TBD based upon the needs and desires of the participants)
