The Science Network meeting will provide an opportunity for you to meet with K-12 science educators in the CESA 5 region and build a Professional Learning Community (PLC). This meeting will provide tools and resources to facilitate your science educator professional development and opportunities to explore and discuss Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) initiatives with colleagues.

Facilitator information:

Dorothy Ginnett is the Science Curriculum Specialist for CESA 5. She is a WI Professional Educator and has experience teaching in the CESA 5 region, both secondary (6 - 12) and college-level science in face-to-face, blended and fully online classrooms. Dorothy also has experience teaching professional development courses in Environmental Science for K-12 Educators. Dorothy earned a Ph. D. in Wildlife Ecology and serves as an Online Advisor for the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA).

Pupil Services
WPS2The pupil services professional understands the complexities of learning and knowledge of comprehensive, coordinated practice strategies that support pupil learning, health, safety and development.
Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
