Audience
- Leadership staff, instructional staff, problem-solving team members, both general and special education teachers.
- Prior attendance at a WI RtI Foundational Overview/Framework Training is highly recommended.
Objectives
School teams will learn why and how to establish or improve their school-wide process for responding to student needs, including guidance to:
- Ensure screening and progress monitoring measures aligned to important outcomes and student need
- Establish decision rules for equitable problem-solving
- Use strategies to “dig deeper” into root causes
- Plan logistics
- Set goals and use data to evaluate the effectiveness of the school’s system of support at the individual and school level
What to Bring
- School teams are encouraged to bring a list of assessment tools currently used in the school/district for screening, digging deeper (diagnostic), and progress monitoring.
- If available, teams should bring copies of current data-based decision-making processes and/or decision rules used by collaborative teams in the school/district.
- Each team member will benefit from access to a wireless device or laptop.

Cost
$130 per person. Includes registration breakfast, networking lunch, texbook and materials for both days.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the training date for a refund to be issued. Cancellations for the PBIS Conference must be received 30 days in advance. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. The Wisconsin RtI Centers reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.
