WOW is a four-part training series designed to help WI school teams deepen understanding, achieve consensus, and build strategies around local implementation of Educator Effectiveness.  WOW training events are specifically designed to be EE model-neutral.  The events will utilize both onsite and virtual participation strategies to guide local, regional, and state collaboration between educators from all CESAs across Wisconsin.

Your choice of two dates for each event
August 11 or August 21, 2015:  WOW Session 1: Finding Your Focus---Anchor Speaker: Mike Mattos
October 7 or October 12, 2015:  WOW Session 2: Building Expertise Part I---Anchor Speaker: Peter DeWitt (Visible Learning for Teachers)
January 27 or January 28, 2016:  WOW Session 3: Building Expertise Part II---Anchor Speaker: Jim Knight
April 26 or April 27, 2016:  WOW Session 4: Looking Back/Looking Ahead---Anchor Speaker: TBD

For: 
Teams of educators from districts and schools across the state.  Recommended team size: 4-6.  Each WOW event builds upon the prior, team members are requested to commit to all four dates.  If space allows, schools/districts may send more than one team.   In the event of schedule conflicts, team member substitution will be permissible.

Cost:  
FREE  Paid by DPI.  Includes lunch and book: " Visible Learning for Teachers:  Maximizing Impact on Learning" by John Hattie.   Costs associated with additional items such as travel/mileage, substitute teachers, etc. will not be covered.
