WOW Session 4: Looking Back/Looking Ahead - Anchor Speaker: Andy Hargreaves

The WI Department of Public Instruction Educator Effectiveness (EE) Team is pleased to announce the launch of Working on the Work (WOW): a series of statewide events dedicated to creating conditions that deepen the understanding, use, and impact of the Educator Effectiveness System, while helping reduce local burden and, simply, work on the right work.

WHAT A four-part series of events featuring a model-neutral curriculum that builds upon prior learning. The events will use a blended-learning approach, a combination of on-site and virtual participation strategies in which districts in all CESAs can learn together at the same event through virtual participation, but also collaborate and dive deeper into the work with their local districts.

WHO School District EE Implementation/Leadership Teams. Recommended team size is four to six. Each WOW event builds upon information and teamwork from the previous session.  Team members are therefore requested to commit to four dates (the full series) when registering.

WOW is funded by DPI and is being offered at no charge (registration, lunch, and materials) to participants.  Please note there are two possible dates for each event and each participant must register individually for each.  In the event of scheduling conflicts, team member flexibility substitution will be allowed.
