WORKSHOP CONTENT: Digging deeper into Gmail, Calendar, Drive Basics, Sites, Blogger
SUMMARY: Shift into high Google gear by moving your GAFE suite forward. The second of our Google Series, digs deeper into everything your schools’ GAFE account has to offer. You’ll leave with the ability to model to students how they, too, can maximize their GAFE tools! We will connect, customize Gmail and Calendar, take a look at settings and labs for optimum efficiency. We'll also dig deep into DRIVE, organizing, customizing folders, an intro to Google Forms for formative assessments and progress monitoring
This workshop continues the Google Apps for Education (GAFE) learning. We will explore ways to incorporate Blogger, Google Drive, Calendar, Sites and Google Classroom into instruction. We'll also learn ways to move students from consumers to creators using their GAFE tools, enriching those 4C's: Communication, Collaboration, Creativity and Critical Thinking.
· If your district pre-purchased “seats” or “slots”, they may be used in lieu of the registration fee (one slot per day)
Participant Cancellation Policy:
You must contact CESA 4 to cancel attendance one week prior to the scheduled event unless otherwise stated in the individual event details. CESA 4 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 4 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. CESA 4 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.
Dietary Restrictions:
Because of the number of meals served, number of ingredients used, and food product changes from vendors, we cannot guarantee dietary restrictions as indicated in a user's myQuickReg profile will be accommodated. Participants with dietary restrictions such as food allergies should plan to bring their own refreshments.
Weather Conditions:
If a workshop has been cancelled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. If weather conditions are questionable, please call CESA 4 Voice Mail at (608) 786-4800; Toll Free (800) 514-3075. A message will be posted regarding workshop weather cancellations.
Additional Accommodations:
