Welcome back to data retreats of old where results were not in a nice online format!

Purpose

Take this opportunity to enhance your skills related to the data inquiry process and data mining.  A K - 8 school-improvement team, including Title I, Special Education and ELL team members, are welcome and encouraged to participate in this two-day workshop.  Participants will utilize an inquiry process to examine vendor reports for the Badger 3 - 8 Exam. 

Participate in a guided process to …

  • Use state data tools and the WISExplore process
  • Explore and analyze achievement, growth, attendance, gaps, post-secondary and other state-available data to the student detail level
  • Determine data questions, document data findings, formulate data inferences
  • Inform the school improvement process, with connections to annual goals, AMOs, SLO focus areas and strategic action plans

Requirements

  • District / School leadership teams including Title I, Special Education and ELL members
  • Each participant:  WISEdash and MDAT access to student detail analyst level (know your WAMS ID and password)
  • Each participant:  A laptop or ipad (internet ready) for each participant

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
