Description:
This workshop will focus on Local Education Agencies (LEAs) planning and working with private schools with regard to Title funding. A Department of Public Instruction Title I consultant will facilitate the meeting in conjunction with CESA 6, 7, & 8 Title I consultants. This workshop will provide an opportunity for collaboration and communication between private school administrators and public school Title I teams that will greatly assist in required Title I planning.

Objectives:
Participants will:

  • Receive guidance on procedures & timelines for complying w/ Title I law
  • Receive sample electronic documents to use or adapt for data collection and/or reporting
  • Network with others

Who should attend?
District personnel with the responsibility of Title programming, budgets, and instruction (i.e. Title I Coordinator, Principal, Superintendent, lead Title I teacher, Reading Specialist, RtI Coordinator) AND Private School administrators that work with districts regarding Title funding, including schools working with students in CESAs and districts adjacent to CESAs 6, 7, and 8.
It is highly recommended that LEAs attend with Private School partners.
