Network Description
Mathematics Leaders are valuable resources in every district/school. The goal of this network is to improve student learning by implementing best practices in mathematics.  The Common Core State Standards for Math call for a deeper understanding of math concepts in order to deliver instruction with fidelity at all grade levels.  The Mathematics Leaders? Network will provide professional development content designed to be an ongoing process to improve mathematics instruction at all classroom levels.

Network Objectives

  • Reflect on high quality classroom mathematics instruction
  • Focus on metacognition in regard to data analysis and teacher feedback to students
  • Share and access on-line teacher resources for technology integration
  • Share/discuss/review district curricula that aligns with the Common Core State Standards
  • Model and share best practice classroom strategies, resources, materials and ideas
  • Build relationships
  • Foster leadership at the building or district level for mathematics instruction
  • Support a continuous improvement model at the classroom, building and district levels

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
