Description
Build Your Own Curriculum (BYOC) may be a new product for you or perhaps you have used it for a long time, but either way, this networking opportunity is for you!
Curriculum and assessment is one way to monitor student learning. However, it is difficult to measure something if there is no documented data.  Join colleagues to share your experience with the BYOC system and bring your questions too.  Each network meeting agenda will be built based on member needs and requests.  Morning and afternoon sessions will be designed for different levels of implementation, so you can decide which portion of the day best meets your needs, or attend both.

Network focus

  • School district curriculum philosophy
  • School district policies related to curriculum
  • Curriculum and Educator Effectiveness—how they work together
  • Process for updating curriculum
  • Aligning curriculum goals and timelines
  • Roles and responsibilities
  • Publishing courses
  • Using BYOC as a living document
  • Applying the Common Core Standards of Mathematical Practice and Disciplinary Literacy to all courses
  • Reports in BYOC and how they can be used

Who should attend?

  • Directors / Coordinators of Curriculum and Assessment and Technology
  • Principals

To better serve our guests with dietary restrictions or allergies, please go into your myQuickReg account and update the special accommodations section. Notice of a special dietary need must be made in advance of the event.
